LÖWE has been producing and distributing agricultural tools since 1868. The original LÖWE shears are tools for professional use in viticulture, fruit growing and horticulture, as well as for many applications in industry and crafts. Since 1923 the company founder Walther Schröder has been the inventor of a unique product of its kind: He developed the first anvil shears in the world and registered the patent. These shears are still present in the current range of our products today under the name LÖWE 1, and are recognized everywhere as excellent tools. A precise cut on a fixed and solid sash - the anvil principle is also used in many other current models of our shears.

LÖWE shears are manufactured and distributed worldwide by Gebr. Schröder GmbH, led by the third generation of the Schröder family, and the management of the managing director Dipl. Ing. Randolf Schröder. A continuous and extensive program of development of anvil and bypass shears with the original LÖWE brand characterizes the current activity of the company which constantly introduces new products, using innovative techniques. The experiences and suggestions of our customers are also taken into consideration in the development process of our shears: LÖWE shears, tailor-made according to the needs of our customers.
